Our knowledgeable design staff can work with you to prepare the perfect landscaping plan to fit your needs, plant preferences, and your property. Our Landscape Design & Development services range from site consultations to full landscape design, CAD drawings, installation and project management. We generally start with an hour site consultation, which includes any questions you might have answered, our professional advice, an estimate for the installation of a project and a basic overview of the project scope. From there you can decide how you would like to utilize our services. We will ensure that the correct plants are used in their ideal habitats, to create your ultimate vision for your landscape.
Our design team specializes in incorporating fruit trees and edibles into your landscape, and we are versed in sustainable and agroforestry design techniques. Drought tolerant, native and low maintenance landscapes are also our specialty.
Whatever your vision and space, we can create the ideal design for you! Contact us to set up

Our Design Team
Steve & Serina Marchi
Serina and Steve work as a team to manage all aspects of the nursery. Serina oversees client consultation, design and installation services while Steve, as our licensed contractor, handles irrigation design, machine work, and all stages of project installation. Their son Cooper is the cutest member of our team, at two years old he’s already pretty handy with a wagon and can say “excavator!”
Joni has been on Kauai since 1994, following her sister here from their hometown of Mendocino, Ca. Joni worked for Steve Roush when she first started landscaping and learned a tremendous amount from working with him. She started her own business, Namahana Yard Service, in 1998 where she continued to cultivate her love and knowledge of plants. After a two year move to her hometown in California (where she also worked in landscaping), she has returned to the island and is thrilled to have joined the team at Seascapes. We are stoked to have her! Joni provides landscaping consultation, design and leads our install crew as a foreman.
“I really listen to my clients and give gentle guidance with my designs. I’d say my favorite designs are very colorful with different textures. I love to add hardscaping into my work with river rock pebbles and pavers going off to a quiet space for my clients. A waterlily pot addition is a must.
I have to be outside daily and I wouldn’t do anything else in my life. I love it!”
Born and raised on Kauai, Zoli has been with Seascapes for 3 years. With a background in organic farming and Permaculture design, Zoli works as a Landscape Designer and Crew Foreman while she is also in school to complete her BA in Integrated Ecosocial Design. She hopes to use her education and experience with Seascapes to become a certified Landscape Architect. Her specialties include edible and native landscaping, food forests, Permaculture site design and agricultural dedications.
“I love to see people connecting with nature, whether its growing your own food, planting native forest or simply loving and appreciating a plant. I think good landscape design should connect us to nature and make us more aware of ourselves through the process.”
