is happening now! The Network is challenging farmers, gardeners, horticultural professionals, schools, and volunteers to help reach a million pollinator gardens over the next two years to reach the goal of

additional pollinator gardens.Bees, butterflies, birds, and bats count for
1 out of 3 bites of food we take each day!
However, these friendly pollinators are at a critical point in their own survival. Their survival is credited to our own survival. Therefore it is crucial that we take the time to help them, help us!

Pollinator gardens should:
use plants that provide nectar and pollen sources
provide a water source,
be situated in sunny areas with wind breaks
create large “pollinator targets” of native or non-invasive plants
establish continuous bloom throughout the growing season
eliminate or minimize the impact of pesticides.
