Loulou Pritchardia

Pritchardia affinis

Native to Big Island.  Federally listed endangered species.  Full sun to partial sun.  Well-drained soil.  Drought, wind, heat, and salt tolerant. Mature height of up to 80 ft.  Loulu, pronounced low-loo, means “umbrella,” because the leaves were formerly used as protection from rain or sun.

Available in 5 gallon pot.
