Mickey Mouse Plant

Ochna serrulata

Mickey Mouse plant is named not for the leaves or blooms, but for the black berries that resemble the face of Mickey Mouse.  Attractive to butterflies and bees to your garden.  Reaches heights of  3 to 8 feet.  Prefers full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil.  Moderately drought tolerant.  Tolerant of wind and seas spray and is a good coastal plant.
