Water: dry to medium, drought tolerant (prefers dry)
Landscape uses: does well in clay, cinder or organic soils. Can be used in a container, as a border plant, for ground cover, or erosion control. Clumping habit.
Plant type, family and origin: A sedge endemic to Hawaii in the Cyperaceae family.
