Red Cestrum

Cestrum newellii 'red'

Cestrum newellii has these brilliant pink-red flowers in the summer, followed by red berries in the fall. The flowers attract hummingbirds. Will grow to 6-8 feet tall and usually about half that width. Will tolerate full sun near the coast, but seem to prefer a bit of mid-day shade inland.
